Diya Hamper contains :
- Sun-baked Clay Diya
Ingredients : Clay/ Earth, Cow Dung & Edible oil (Bee’s Wax Optional)
All ingredients used are 100% natural and will go back to earth easily.
During our last few years of Diwali Celebration, we noticed that the Baked Diya used in most of the houses during Diwali are also not 100% eco-friendly or biodegradable.
We give shape to the clay & bake them (like bricks) before we use them. Another way to look at it is if we crush the Baked Diya in finer form and plant in it then the plant will not survive as the soil is baked, and therefore, no longer retains its natural properties. And therefore, similar to bricks, they are non-biodegradable.

- You can easily compost Sun-baked Clay or Flour Diya or simply put them in your plants after use. They will act as manure for the plants.
